- Summary -

Tony Stark was a weapons designer who made his fortune by designing weapons for the U.S. government. While in Vietnam, he was injured in an explosion and then captured by a local Communist warlord and managed to design a transistorized suit of armor.

This special suit allowed Stark to escape and return to the United States as his own anonymous bodyguard, Iron Man. Now in the guise of Iron Man, Stark is able to fight evil-doers such as the Crimson Dynamo and the Mandarin.
